Our Team

Carol Miller

Owner and Designer 
As the owner of Carmike Kitchens, Carol has been creatively designing spaces for customers for more than 24 years. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Bath and Kitchen Buying Group (BKBG) and holds a Maryland Home Improvement license. A native of Pennsylvania, Carol moved to Maryland in 1994. She now lives in Mechanicsville with her husband, mother, 4 dogs and one cat. When she isn’t working, she enjoys family gatherings with her 5 children, 4 step children and 23 grandchildren. Her other interests include gardening, cycling and outdoor activities.

Lisa Kinsey

Designer
As a member of Carmike Kitchens’ team, Lisa has been designing kitchens and bathrooms for 12 years with an exceptional ability to connect with her customers. Lisa grew up in Ohio and relocated to Charles County over 20 years ago. She currently resides in La Plata with her husband, 3 dogs and a cat. Her daughter is a recent graduate of Ohio State University. She enjoys shopping, traveling, and fine dining. 

Brenda Klinedinst

Support Staff

As the newest member of Carmike’s team, Brenda oversees the organization and maintenance of our website. She enjoys spending time outside hiking, biking, and fishing. She lives in East Berlin, PA with her husband of 38 years.

Terri Carroll

Designer
Teri has 15 years of experience designing spaces that optimize storage, organization, and functionality. She joined the Carmike Kitchens team in 2014 and focuses on kitchen and bath remodeling projects. Born and raised in Charles County, Teri now lives in Indian Head with her husband and teenage son. An avid horse lover, Teri trains and competes in endurance events and contributes time to helping people with special needs experience trail riding.

Lisa grew up in Ohio and relocated to Charles County over 20 years ago. She currently resides in La Plata with her husband, 3 dogs and a cat. Katy Overby

Support Staff
As the newest member of Carmike’s team, Katy oversees the organization and maintenance of our design studio. A native of Rhode Island, Katy moved to Mechanicsville in 2011, where she lives with her husband, 2 daughters and her yorkie, Lex. Gardening is Katy’s favorite pastime. She enjoys spending time outside running, biking, hiking, and birdwatching. 

Stacy Hernandez

Support Staff
Stacy, our financial specialist, has been with Carmike Kitchens for 4 years. She also maintains Carmike’s marketing outreach and publications. Originally from New Hampshire, Stacy moved to La Plata in 2011, where she resides with her husband, twin teenage daughters and one son. In her free time, she enjoys doing home improvement projects and spending time at the beach.
